Click for an interactive map Izvoarele Bratiei Trout Farm from Candesti Village, Albestii de Muscel Township is situated in a picturesque area at the foot of Iezer Mountain, surrounded by great forests of deciduous and coniferous trees in the northern part of Arges County, at about 8 km north-west of the city Campulung, the first capital of the Romanian Country.

With over 10 years of experience and the owners' passion for trout, Izvoarele Bratiei Trout Farm can produce a minimum annual amount of 60 tonnes of trout.

The complex is fed by pure water from the river Brat, crystal clear water which gives the trout a high quality, making the delight of our customers. For a stable production, the trout farm disposes of an incubation house with a capacity of 2,000,000 trout spawns.

The maine species grown in the trout farm are: the rainbow trout (Salmo irideus Shastri) and the brown trout (Salvelinus fontinalis). Besides the ecological mode of feeding and special conditions offered by nature in the area, the trout farm also has aerators for high productivity and quality.
